This is a letter written in his own hand and signed as Pope from the first year of his pontificate, December 19th, 1829.

It is an untranslated item believed to be Christmas greetings and a thank you for good wishes upon his election as pontiff.

It is somewhat rare because not only is it totally in his own hand but also because he was pope for such a short time.
