A stack of ten matchbooks commemorating the visit of John Paul II in October 1979 to the United States. They are a candle lighting souvenir and are all complete.

During that visit he was in Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Des Moines, Chicago and Washington, D.C. This was his first visit to the United States.
