Amen.”
Holy Mother of God, help us to experience the power of reconciliation and forgiveness. Help us to be patient and humble but also free and brave in the hour of the cross. You bear Jesus in your arms, the Blessed Child who is also Lord of the World. You, who bear the Blessed One have, yourself, become a blessing.
Bless us and this town, city and this country.
Show us Jesus, the blessed fruit of your womb. Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. — Pope Benedict XVI, Marienplatz, Munich, Germany, Sept. 9th, 2006
Mater intermerata, ora pro nobis. Mater amabilis, ora pro nobis.
Mater boni consilili, ora pro novis. Mater Creatoris, ora pro nobis.
Mater Salvatoris, ora pro novis.

Peccatorum miserere
A mother always defends her children; it is a deep-seated imperative of her condition as mother. Because she is our mother, Mary is our defender, our advocate. The time of her Heaven is a mother’s heartfelt cry, an impassioned defense, a summoning of light for all of us, who still walk so many dark lanes. But if our mother takes us by the hand, we need no longer feel afraid.
Cardinal Angelo Comastri
Mother undefiled, pray for us. Gentle Mother, pray for us, Admirable Mother, pray for us. Mother of good counsel, pray for us. Mother of the Creator, pray for us. Mother of the Savior, pray for us.

Star of the sea, help him who falls
To stand up and care for your people
You who gave birth to your holy Father
To the wonder of nature
Virgin before and afterwards
You heard the greeting
From the lips of Gabriel
Have mercy on us sinners
