Vatican Unveiled: An Exploration of Legacies is an exhibit showcasing the largest collection of Papal Artifacts outside of Rome. For many people, this is the closest they will ever get to a Pope or the Vatican. The exhibit will be open August 19-21, 2022 in Duluth, MN at the DECC – Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
The history of the Catholic Church has been influential in the formation of our world today. Hear incredible stories from Father Richard Kunst, Curator, on how he has come across some of the rarest of artifacts and the historical significance behind them.
The exhibit will feature over 150 items:
> Cross from Mother Teresa’s Habit
> Relics of the True Cross owned by Pope Clement XI
> Many items from Saint Pope John Paul II
> A relic from the original chair of St. Peter himself
Additional events are being planned which include appearances by Mark Hall-Patton, the Beard of Knowledge, from the famed TV show, Pawn Stars on History.
All ticket sale proceeds from the Vatican Unveiled Event will support 2 charities in northern Minnesota:
| Star of the North Maternity Home | With two maternity homes in the Twin Ports and the Iron Range areas of Minnesota, SON focuses on supporting women and their babies not only with shelter, but with programming and life coaching to help moms become more self-sufficient and help them reach their goals. Moms can stay in the maternity homes for up to 18 months and are supported 24/7 by staff and volunteers.
