The Popecast
Croissant et Café · Paris en Notes ·
Until Pope St. John Paul II visited France in 1980, it had been nearly 200 years since the last visit – that being Servant of God Pope Pius VII’s trip for Napoleon’s coronation in 1804.
Pope Benedict XVI made an apostolic visit there in 2008, and now Pope Leo XIV is there, bearing witness to the still-vibrant faith of the Eldest Daughter of the Church, which appears to be blossoming anew.
All you holy saints of France, pray for us!
