The Pilgrimage to Poland Brochure
Stories on this website continue to accumulate as the Curator carries on his mission to share with others his love for our Church and for the men who hold its highest office.
In his mind and heart, none surpass Pope Saint John Paul II.
It is with joy we share a few moments of his today, while leading a pilgrimage to Poland, birthplace of his favorite pope!

Some Information about the Breviary Entry & the Scripture Passage Read at the End of Pope St. John Paul II’s Life
The Breviary
The breviary is opened to the traditional Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary prayed on Saturdays. It is not known if it is always opened to this Office due to the Pope’s love for the Mother of God, or if it is because today is Saturday.
A you tube is featured at the end of this post singing the votive Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Scripture Passage from 2 Kings 10: 34-36
Note verse 36–part of which was read during Pope John Paul II’s last days. King Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria for twenty-eight years. Pope John Paul II reigned for nearly the same amount of time, and one of the sisters attending him recognized the great similarity and noted it by writing in pencil the word, “Amen.”
The Great Amen!
34Now the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and all his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? 35And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead. 36And the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty and eight years.
