Today’s post is Mass for the 6th Sunday of the Easter season, celebrated by Father Kunst. While the Covid virus continues to interrupt full participation in the Mass and Eucharist, like so many parish priests throughout the world, he continues to share the Mass via social media and you tube.
Tomorrow is the 100th birthday of Pope St. John Paul II, Father’s favorite saint–a man who was and is his spiritual father and the greatest influence on his own vocation.
We invite you to pray the Mass with him and hear his loving thoughts about John Paul. Father Kunst was privileged to have many private audiences with him, some of which are included in the photos below.
During this time of the pandemic, a portion of the homily also sites the stuggle to move forward with re-opening our churches to participation in the Mass.
We thank Fr. Kunst for his heartfelt memory of St. John Paul II and his compassionate observations about our need to return to full participation in the Mass.
